New Days-Long Hutch Closure Scheduled
Get set for a new closure last over several days on a stretch of the Hutchinson River Parkway. Motorists have been advised that beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, the Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed in Mount Vernon and Pelham between exit 6 (I-95) and Exit 15 (Cross County Parkway). The closure is scheduled to conclude at 5 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, in advance of the morning commute. Northbound traffic on the parkway will be detoured at the I-95 interchange. Southbound traffic will be diverted to the Cross County Parkway and the Bronx River Parkway. All ramps to the Hutchinson …

Hutchinson River Parkway Stretch Will Be Closed Over Four-Day Period
The planned closure of a stretch of the Hutchinson River Parkway that had to be postponed has been rescheduled in Westchester. Last month, the New York State Department of Transportation announced plans for a closure of the parkway on the final weekend of September as part of an ongoing bridge replacement near the Pelham and Mount Vernon border. Crash Causes Lengthy Delays On Hutch
This story has been updated. There was gridlock on a stretch of the Hutchinson River Parkway late Saturday morning following a serious crash. The crash, on the northbound side, occurred at North Street/Route 127 (Exit 25) in Harrison. Delays stretched back to Pinebrook Boulevard in New Rochelle before the crash was cleared by 11 a.m.

Suspect Flees From Police After Burglary In Fairfield County
A burglary suspect is on the loose after fleeing Westchester County Police officers when the car he was in was pulled over on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Police stopped a car on the parkway Tuesday night in Pelham, which had two suspects who are wanted for an alleged burglary in Greenwich, according to a News12 report. A 26-year-old Uber driver who sexually assaulted a Westchester woman on a ride home from NYC has been arrested for the attack, according to the Rye Brook Police.The attack occurred on Friday, June 8 when the 39-year-old woman hailed an Uber for a ride home from Manhattan after being out with friends in the city, said Rye Brook Det. Motorists are advised that a portion of the Hutchinson River Parkway is expected to be closed over the weekend.
