Vance Goes Viral The vice presidential debate Tuesday night, Oct. 1, lacked the explosive hallmarks of this election cycle's presidential forums. There was no yelling, cursing, or name-calling. The candidates even exchanged compliments at times.  The most contentious moment of the night came from Sen. JD Vance and CBS moderator Margaret Brennan, a Stamford native.
