Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Vehicle In Shelton An 83-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a street in Shelton. The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, when Shelton Police, Fire and EMS responded to the area of Howe Avenue and Grove Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango. The Shelton resident was transported from the scene to Bridgeport Hospital and was reported to be in critical condition, Bango said.
