Two Killed, Another Seriously Injured In Four-Vehicle CT Crash
Two people were killed and a third suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash in Connecticut, police said. Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 in Hartford County, Newington Police Chief Stephen Clark said that there were two confirmed fatalities in a four-vehicle crash that happened near the intersection of East Cedar Street and Patricia M. Genova Drive. The two victims have been identified as Middlesex County resident Mark Steiner, age 61, of East Hampton, and 29-year-old Hartford County resident Alexis Soto, of Wethersfield. One Dead, Several Seriously Injured After Car Runs Stop Sign At Busy Intersection, Police Say
One person was killed and numerous people injured in a two-vehicle early morning crash when a speeding vehicle ran a stop sign. The crash took place in Fairfield County around 2:03 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, at the intersection of Brooks and Jane streets in Bridgeport. According to police, the crash involved a dark gray Honda Accord that was traveling northbound on Brooks Street at a high rate of speed, said Bridgeport Police Capt. Kevin Gilleran. New Round Of Scattered Thunderstorms Possible After Severe Weather Results In One Fatality
The remnants of Hurricane Barry brought severe thunderstorms to the region that resulted in torrential downpours causing flooding, damaging winds, downed trees, and one confirmed fatality.
