Missing 11-Year-Old Boy Found Safe By Alert CT Resident A concerned citizen has found a Connecticut 11-year-old who had been missing for more than a day. Related: Missing: Southington Boy, 11, Hasn't Been Seen Since Leaving Home Hartford County resident Cody Schrlau, of Southington, went missing from his home on Monday, Sept. 2.  According to Capt. James Armack of the Southington Police, the boy was spotted on a walking trail in New Haven County in Cheshire. The citizen contacted the Cheshire Police who responded and stopped Cody, Armack said. Bicyclist Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In Fairfield County, Police Say A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car in Fairfield County. The incident happened around 6:30 a.m., Friday, July 23, in Stratford, on Nichols Avenue. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene, and the cyclist was transported to an area hospital with injuries, Stratford PD Capt. Frank Eannotti said. Eannotti said the incident is still under investigation and did not say how seriously the cyclist was injured. This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Traffic Advisory: Expect Delays During CT Challenge Bike Tour In Fairfield County With more than 1,000 expected to participate in the annual CT Challenge Bike Tour on Saturday, traffic may be tied up on local Connecticut roads, leading to delays for motorists. Cyclists will kick off the event at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning, with participants competing in a 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100-mile route. The event starts and finishes at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport In total, 1,004 riders have registered among 122 teams..
