A man faces numerous charges in connection with a shooting in New Haven County that left one victim dead and another injured, police said. The incident happened on Monday, March 20 around 6 p.m., when police in Meriden responded to the area of West Main Street at Lewis Avenue for a reported shooting. A Connecticut man has been charged after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at another driver. The incident took place in Windham County in the village of Moosup around 1:50 p.m., Thursday, July 21. Plainfield Police received a phone call from a woman who said she was driving on Sterling Hill Road in Moosup when another motorist pointed a firearm at her, police said. A 63-year-old Connecticut man was arrested after authorities said he was involved in a shooting and then crashed into multiple vehicles, including a police cruiser, during a pursuit. Hartford County resident William Ramos Sr., of New Britain, was arrested following an investigation into a shooting on Friday, Nov. 26, in Manchester. A man violating his probation was arrested for an alleged violent armed robbery in which he pistol-whipped his victim and stole a chain in a Fairfield County park, police said. An attempted armed robber at a Long Island hotel was hospitalized after a struggle ensued with employees following a botched robbery, police said. An alleged gang member from Fairfield County has been charged in connection with an armed burglary involving two other suspects that happened more than a year ago on Long Island. The burglary occurred on July 26, 2018 at 4:22 p.m. in Westbury. On the day of funeral services for victim Stephon Walthrust, the Stamford Police Department arrested the man allegedly responsible for the fatal “senseless” murder, investigators announced. Walthrust, of Queens, was found shot multiple times in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked on Garden Street on March 30, police said. Bridgeport Police have made an arrest in the murder of a 48-year-old local man at the Sunny Side Inn who was an innocent victim, police say. Glenn Pettway, 25, of Bridgeport, was arrested early Friday for his role in Feb. 26, 2018, the murder of Alfanso Anderson at the Sunny Side Inn, located at 174 Lake St., said Bridgeport Police Lt.
