A 41-year-old Fairfield County woman is behind bars after New York State Police say she threw a hatchet at a male victim and rammed his vehicle during a domestic dispute in Northern Westchester. Troopers responded to Spring Hill Road in North Salem to assist North Salem Police Department with a domestic dispute on Thursday, March 30 at approximately 9:30 p.m. An investigation determined the dispute began on Route 116 around 4:30 p.m. when Debbie P. Father Charged With Beating 5-Month-Old Who's Hospitalized In Westchester
A man is behind bars for beating a 5-month-old baby, breaking ribs and causing a skull fracture, according to the Spring Valley Police Department. Jonathan Castillo was arrested after Child Protective Services were notified by officials at Westchester Medical Center that the child had been admitted with serious injuries, Spring Valley Police Officer Matthew Gail said. A joint investigation by the police department and protective services was initiated and ended with the arrest of Castillo, said Gail. He was charged with assault and criminal contempt and is being held on $500,000 bail.
