Gilgo Beach Murders: New Images Of 'Asian Doe' Released In Effort To ID Male Victim
Investigators are hoping newly released images will lead to the identification of another victim in the Gilgo Beach serial murders. On Long Island, the Gilgo Beach Task Force distributed facial reconstructions of who they've long referred to as "Asian Doe" during a press conference in Brentwood on Monday morning, Sept. 16. Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney said the man’s skeletal remains were found along Ocean Parkway in Gilgo Beach on April 4, 2011, though it’s believed he “suffered a violent death” sometime before 2006. State Police Alert Issued For Falsely Reporting Incidents, School Threats
Connecticut State Police is warning of the dangers of “crying wolf” when it comes to reported incidents and school threats. State police issued an alert on Monday warning that if law enforcement officials are contacted in response to a threat or a perceived threat in a local school, investigators must treat those threats as genuine, no matter what the circumstance. Norwalk Police report that they have been experiencing an uptick in unlocked vehicle being entered during the overnight hours throughout the city. The police department issued a reminder that residents lock their vehicles, remove all valuables as well as the keys/fobs.

Connecticut State Police officials are encouraging the community to lock their cars at night as detectives continue their investigation into a suspicious man who was caught on surveillance cameras peering into a car looking for property to steal. Police are investigating an attempted break-in that occurred at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Durham outside a local home, where a man in a hooded sweatshirt was caught attempting to get into the locked vehicle.
