Fallen, Stuck Horse Rescued By Quick-Thinking Firefighters In CT
Thanks to quick action from firefighters, a fallen horse in Connecticut that had become stuck and unable to get up was saved. The incident happened in Hartford County on Tuesday, Sept. 5 around 10:20 a.m., when the Broad Brook Fire Department responded to a home in East Windsor where a horse had slipped and fallen, causing it to end up in a position where it was unable to get back on its feet. Woman Found Dead After CT Apartment Fire Breaks Out
A Connecticut woman was found dead inside a third-floor apartment following a fire. The Hartford County woman was found around 8 p.m., Monday, March 21, in East Windsor following the fire at a multi-family home on Church Street. When firefighters were called shortly before 7:30 p.m. there was a report of “trapped parties on the third floor," the Broad Brook Fire Department said. CT Employee Seriously Injured After Becoming Impaled In Pasta Machine
An employee at a Connecticut food plant was seriously injured after becoming impaled on a pasta machine. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m., Monday, March 21 at Carla's Pasta, 50 Talbot Lane, in South Windsor, in Hartford County. The South Windsor Fire Department responded to the restaurant for a report of an employee with his armed trapped in a pasta roller machine.
