19: Four New Cases Of UK "Super-Spreader" Variant Confirmed In CT
Four new mutated cases of the purported “Super Strain” COVID-19 variant that came from the United Kingdom have been reported on Connecticut, doubling the total in the state. Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont announced on Monday, Jan. 25 that the new cases have been confirmed, with the eight infected individuals ranging in age from 15 to 50. Three cases each have been reported in Oxford and West Haven, with two in New Haven.
