Unruly Man, 74, Charged With DUI At Private Darien Club, Police Say An unruly 74-year-old man was charged with allegedly driving while intoxicated after police were called to a private Fairfield County beach club. Peter Welsh, of Middlesex County in Marlborough, Massachusetts, was arrested on Wednesday, June 19, at the Tokeneke Beach Club in Darien. According to Sgt. Mauricio Vigil of the Darien Police, officers were called to the club on a report of a possible unruly, intoxicated man.  Officers identified the individual as Welsh, who exhibited signs of intoxication and had a small laceration on his arm, Vigil said. Intoxicated CT Man Charged After Burger Dispute At McDonald's, Police Say A dispute over a hamburger at the drive-thru window of a New York McDonald's led to the arrest of a Connecticut man whose blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. The incident took place in Ulster County around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22 at the McDonalds on Route 212 in Saugerties. Stamford Woman Charged With DUI After Traffic Stop In Wilton A woman from Stamford has been charged with DUI after a traffic stop in Wilton, police say. Wilton Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2009 Mazda after observing the driver run a red light on Thursday, Nov. 21 around 6:45 a.m. When speaking with the driver, identified as Samantha Bonkowski, 28, of Stamford, police say she showed signs of impairment. Bonkowski was subsequently asked to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which police say she did not pass.
