Police uncovered the first incident at around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at the All-Town Mobil service station, 2775 Nichols Ave., when responding to an activated burglary alarm and found that the rear door to the business had been forced open and a lone suspect was recorded fleeing the business with several cartons of cigarettes and several hundred dollars in cash, said Trumbull Police Capt. Keith Golding.
The second incident occurred around 3 a.m., Tuesday when police again responded to the station and found the glass to the north side entrance door had been smashed in, Golding said.
Two suspects were recorded entering the business through the broken door and running off with several cartons of electronic cigarettes and cash totaling several hundred dollars, he said.
The investigation is continuing to identify the suspects.
