Learn to work with a palette of watercolors to challenge yourself to mix creative ways to relax.

Working with a limited palette of watercolors, participants will challenge themselves to mix a variety of hues, in an array of values. Bright, bold color will be applied to negative space surrounding a silhouetted tree, while the tree itself will be modeled using metallic paint with a touch of glitter for "winter sparkle."

The two identical sessions will be on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 p.m. Sessions are limited to 16 people and registration is required.

All registered patrons must call the library reference desk at least 48 hours prior to the class to confirm attendance at 203-452-2850 ext. 6 by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, for session 1 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 , for session 2. Lack of confirmation will give your spot to the next person on the waiting list.

Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is located at 733 Monroe Turnpike.
