Man Admits To CT Bank Robbery Spree A man is facing years in prison after pleading guilty to three bank robberies in Connecticut. Francesco Pensiero, "Frank," age 51, of Stamford, admitted the 2020 robberies on Tuesday, June 4, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut. CT Man Charged With DUI After Driving Into Work Zone, Police Say A driver was allegedly intoxicated when he intentionally disobeyed traffic signs and drove through an active work zone in Fairfield County, police said. Shortly after 2 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, a New Canaan police officer on patrol spotted a driver ignoring traffic control signs, at which point he entered a road closed due to construction at the intersection of Main Street and Locust Avenue. Connecticut Man Nabbed For Hit-Run Crash, DUI, Police Say An area man was charged with allegedly hitting two vehicles and leaving the scene of the crash while driving intoxicated. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 10, in Fairfield County when New Canaan Police were dispatched to the area of Main Street on a report of a vehicle that struck two parked cars and left the scene of the crash.  Through witness statements, responding officers obtained a registration plate for the wanted vehicle, which identified David Hart, age 45, of New Canaan, as the owner of the vehicle.  The investigation resulted in Har…
