Swastika Found Carved Into Glass At CT Train Station, Suspect At Large: Police
Police are investigating an apparent hate crime after an unknown suspect left a swastika in a Connecticut train station. The symbol was discovered in Fairfield County on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at approximately 12:10 p.m., according to Darien Police. It was carved into a glass window in a bathroom stall of the Darien Train Station, located at 33 West Avenue. Police said they did not know how long the swastika had been there, and no details about the vandal were released. Darien Public Works was notified so that the vandalism could be taken care of. Aggressive Driver On I-95 In CT Approached Victim With Bat, Police Say
A Fairfield County man is facing charges after police said he drove aggressively behind a victim's vehicle and then approached them with a bat. Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in a parking lot on Ledge Road in Darien at about 12:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, according to the Darien Police Department. The victim told officers that while driving on I-95 northbound, the passenger saw 26-year-old Edwin Flores, of Norwalk, following directly behind their vehicle, police said.
