ID Released For Man Shot, Killed While Sitting On Front Seat Of Vehicle In Stamford Stamford Police have identified a man who was shot and killed while sitting in the front seat of a vehicle. Stephon Walthrust, 26, of Queens, was discovered in the driver seat of a vehicle around 10:45 p.m., Saturday, March 30 on Garden Street, said Stamford Police Lt. Tom Scanlon. Walthrust, who had been shot multiple times, was transported to Stamford Hospital and later died, he added. Man Fatally Shot In Stamford's First Homicide Of Year A man in his 20s was shot and killed in Stamford, marking the city's first homicide of the year. The incident took place around 10:45 p.m., Saturday, March 30, on Garden Street, said Stamford Police Lt. Tom Scanlon. The unidentified man was shot multiple times and died later at Stamford Hospital, Scanlon said.
