Fire officials are investigating after several vehicles were found on fire at a parking lot and storage area for a local towing company in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Stamford around 10:25 a.m., Saturday, June 22, in the area of 400 Fairfield Ave. According to Capt. Philip Hayes of the Stamford Fire Department, the West Side Fire Station, arrived at the scene and found a fire involving several vehicles inside the parking lot and storage area. Stamford Man Found Dead Following House Fire
A man was found dead inside his home after a fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out in Stamford around 6:55 p.m. on Friday, May 3, at 48 Powel Place. According to Stamford Police Capt. Tom Scanlon, after extinguishing the fire, Stamford firefighters discovered the homeowner, Mark Palmer, age 67, dead inside the house. State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County.
