HP Hood LLC is recalling 96-ounce containers of Lactaid Milk because the product may contain trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label.
People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products, according to an announcement by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Apple juice sold at Walmart has been recalled due to high arsenic levels.
The US Food and Drug Administration says 9,535 cases of the company's Great Value brand 100 percent apple juice were sold in six-packs of 8-ounce plastic bottles bearing this expiration date: Best if Used by DEC2824 CT89-6, and a UPC code of 0-78742-29655-5.
According to the FDA, the product contains inorganic arsenic above the action level set in industry guidance (13.2 parts per billion).

Vegetables, Bagged Salads Sold In 18 States, Including CT, Recalled Due To Listeria Concerns
A recall for a brand of vegetables and bagged salads has been expanded to 18 states due to possible Listeria contamination.
Ohio-based Wiers Farm began its investigation in response to the Michigan Department of Agriculture's original findings, which led to the expansion.
Products in the expanded recall were packed between Friday, July through Friday, July 12.
Vegetables that are part of the recall include cucumbers, green bell and jalapeno peppers, green beans, and cilantro.
They were sold in a variety of different stores, including Walmart.

Cases of the BA.2.86 strain, known as Pirola, have been confirmed in:
Colorado,
Maryland,
Michigan,
New York,
Ohio,
Oregon,
Pennsylvania,
Texas,
Virginia,
Washington.
The Michigan case, the first in the US, was an older woman who had recently returned from Japan who reportedly had mild symptoms.

Perdue Recalls Beef Wiener Products Over Misbranding
Thousands of pounds of wiener products have been recalled, officials announced.
Perdue Premium Meat Company, Inc. is recalling approximately 3,200 pounds of fully cooked beef wiener products sold under its Brookside Brand due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said.
The product may actually contain smoked sausage, which contains milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the wiener product label, the recall notice said.

E. Coli Outbreak Linked To Wendy's Grows, CDC Says
A multi-state E. coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce in sandwiches at Wendy's has grown, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
There have now been 55 more reported infections in the outbreak, bringing the total number of cases to 84, and hospitalizations to 34, the CDC announced Thursday, Aug. 25.
In its initial report on the outbreak, about three dozen people were sickened, with 10 hospitalized, in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
