Nassau County Police were called about a disturbance at the Planet Fitness in Merrick, located on Merrick Road, shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, July 21. As they were arriving, Getho Brevette, of Merrick, drove away heading westbound on Merrick Road. The incident happened on Long Island at MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma around 6:15 p.m. Monday, July 22. Suffolk County Police said a single engine Beechcraft Bonanza A36 took off heading south from the airport and was attempting to return to the same runway when it crashed. The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham.
