Purse Stolen After Window Of Lexus Smashed Latest Case Of Thieves Targeting Public Parks An expensive purse and other items were taken from a Lexus at a Fairfield County park after thieves smash the vehicle's window. The thefts were discovered around 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, when the New Canaan Police Department responded to Waveny Park to investigate a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle, said NCPD Chief of Police Leon Krolikowski.
