CT Man Shot, Killed In Road-Rage Incident On I-691 A 49-year-old CT man was shot and killed during a road-rage incident. Middlesex County resident Scott Kracke, of Middlefield, died of a gunshot wound around 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 in New Haven County, on I-691 eastbound in Meriden. Connecticut State troopers responded to a report of a disturbance near Exit 2A. State police said when troopers arrived, they found Kracke with gunshot wounds. The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1 on Route 15 in Hamden. According to Connecticut State Police, troopers responded to a report of several people in a vehicle who had sustained gunshot wounds, on Route 15 southbound in the area of Exit 60, in the town of Hamden. The two were discovered in a Hartford County home around 5:45 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 28 in East Granby on Wynding Hills Road, according to the Connecticut State Police. Troopers and East Granby Officers responded to the residence, where they located two adults, identified as Thomas Jacius, age 49, and Doreen Jacius, age 48, addresses unknown at this time, with apparent gunshot wounds, state police said. Marico Ellis, age 24, went missing from Hartford Superior Court just after noontime on Thursday, Aug. 25, wearing a black shirt and pants, according to Connecticut State Police. The underlying charges for which Ellis was at court for include firearms, narcotics, and felony assault violations.  Ellis, a resident of Hartford, was not wearing shoes at the time, police said.
