Police Arrest Fourth Suspect In Death Of Bridgeport Man Hit By Brick BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The fourth suspect wanted in connection with the death of a 41-year-old Bridgeport man who was struck by a brick in July has been arrested, according to the Connecticut Post.Jonathan Dejesus, 29, surrendered to Bridgeport police Monday, was charged with first-degree manslaughter and held on $250,000 bond, according to the Post. The other three suspects -- Anthony Martinez, 33, Mari Vargas, 41, and Christopher Fonseca, 28 — are also facing first-degree manslaughter charges. Greater Bridgeport's Vagabond Theatre Seeks Help To Stage Inaugural Season BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- John R. Smith Jnr. will do anything in his powers to keep producing the kind of shows expected by fans of the former Bijou Theatre in Bridgeport. Since the Bijou Theatre closed down, Smith, a Trumbull resident, has set up the theater group on the campus of Fairfield University. Kara Kathleen Kovlakas, 32, Norwalk Teacher NORWALK, Conn. — Kara Kathleen Kovlakas, a teacher at Marvin Elementary in Norwalk, died at home in Trumbull on Thursday, Oct 13. She was 32. Kara Kovlakas was the wife of Andy Kovlakas, a Norwalk police officer. She was born Oct. 14, 1983, in Norwalk, the daughter of Margaret and Bruce Morrow. She died the day before her 33rd birthday. Norwalk Rallies Around Family After Death Of Marvin School Teacher NORWALK, Conn. — The Norwalk community is in mourning after the unexpected death of Kara Kovlakas, a third grade teacher at Marvin Elementary School and wife of Norwalk Police Officer Andy Kovlakas. Kara Kovlakas, who is a Norwalk native, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 13. They have two children -- Aydan, 4, and Ari, 9 months.
