He was born July 8, 1928, in Glens Falls, N.Y. He earned a bachelor's degree from Union College in Schnectady, N.Y., and a master’s degree from New York University. He also served in the U.S. Army Military Police.
From there, Moses went on to a career in management with New York Telephone Co. as director of operations and development. He also worked for Marriott International as the director of management training.
Moses was active in his community and served as president of the Connecticut/Westchester chapter of the Association for Psychological Type. He was the fundraising chair for Union College’s class of 1953 and president of the Stamford Senior Center. He also served on the advisory board of the Southwest Connecticut Commission on Aging.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; a brother, Roland; a daughter, Debbie (Anthony) Leva; a son, Jonathan (Chrissie); two stepsons, Nicholas (Leslie) and Paul (Krisa) Verbitsky; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home in Stamford. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Burial with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Long Ridge Union Cemetery in Stamford.
