STAMFORD, Conn. - Constance Ilene Smith of Stamford died Thursday, April 11. She was 67.
Smith was born September 22, 1946, in Riddlesburg, Pa., daughter of David and Velma Carnell Smith and had lived in Port Chester, N.Y., for many years before moving to Stamford. She was a nurse for 20 years at United Hospital in Port Chester and then worked for many years as a home health aide.
Smith is survived by her son, Thomas E. Smith; sister, Rebecca Barker of Carmel, N.Y.; brother, John Smith of Baltimore, Md.; nieces; her longtime companion, Philip DiCostanzo; and three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Karen Smith; and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Koenig Smith.
Calling hours are 11 a.m. Monday, April 15 at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 15 at 12 p.m.
