Enjoy exhilarating physical activity, tasty refreshments and a great bunch of people at the Zumba Festival at Stillmeadow Elementary School from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18. There'll be raffles and prizes, too.
Certified instructor Shannon Wade will lead the way. Shannon is a special educational assistant at Westhill High School and teaches classes in Fairfield County. The event is sponsored by the Stamford Public Schools' Rites of Passage Program, which will benefit from the proceeds. Admission is $20. By the way, Saturday is Shannon's birthday, so come out and not only support Rites of Passage, but also celebrate with Shannon.
