STAMFORD, Conn. Metro-North's New Haven Line was experiencing half-hour delays in Fairfield County Monday due to a damaged powerline in Greenwich.
The railroad is combining several trains with diesel engines. Connecticut Light & Power expected to be working on the damaged line Monday afternoon.
Sunday nights storm knocked tree branches onto wires causing outages and suspending service between Harrison and Stamford. The railroad was able to start service back up Monday morning at around 5:30 a.m., according to its Twitter account.
