Daryl Irene Lee, 47, Stamford Actress

STAMFORD, Conn. — Daryl Irene Lee, 47, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died at Greenwich Hospital on Dec. 31.

After graduating from Westhill High School, she received her associate's degree in economics from Norwalk Community College, and a bachelor's degree in socio-cultural anthropology from Columbia University. Lee was also an actor and appeared in commercials, films, and theater productions. She was also a member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation of Southampton, N.Y.

Lee is survived by her mother, Barbara Lee, and two sisters, Brenda Lee and Valerie Lee.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at the Greater Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church in Stamford. The family will receive visitors at the church Saturdaty at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in South Hampton, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Lee’s memory be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home.
