City Warns of Downtown Traffic Delays

Drivers traveling in the area near the downtown train station today should be prepared for possible traffic delays. The city has issued an advisory for today and Tuesday that construction from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. is likely to stall normal traffic flow. The work is a milling and paving project, starting on Elm Street at Tresser Boulevard and continuing to about 150 feet south of the Elm Street railroad trestle. All access to local businesses will be maintained, but motorists who don't wish to be in a traffic slowdown are advised to plan an alternative route.
