Stamford Art Group To Showcase Annual Exhibition

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford’s Loft Artist Association will feature work by artists of all ages at its annual “Drawing Show” exhibition next month.

“From young children to retired business executives — everyone had an opportunity to express their artistic vision in this unique show,” Philippa Lodato-Suppa, a member of the artist association, said in a news release from the organization.

The work was submitted for “The Drawing Show IV – Marks On A Page” after the organization held a free workshop this month, the release said. Participants were encouraged to let their creativity run free using pencils, pens and ink, crayons, markers, oil pastels, craypas, oil sticks and charcoal, the release said.

There will be an opening reception for the exhibit on May 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. The works will be on display the Loft Artist Association until May 24, the release said. The Loft Artist Association is located at 845 Canal St., and open to the public on Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m.
