Photos: Stamford Kitchen Fires Causes Thousands Of Dollars In Damage A kitchen fire in Stamford has caused thousands of dollars in damages, according to the Stamford Fire Department. Stamford Fire Department officials say they responded to 64 Schuyler Avenue on the report of a kitchen fire on Tuesday, Sept. 17 around 6:50 p.m. Fire crews quickly contained the fire to its point of origin and cleared the scene. The damages have been estimated at $10,000, officials say.
