Trumbull Teen Robbed at Gunpoint, Dirt Bike Stolen By Convicted Felon: Police A 14-year-old Trumbull teen was robbed at gunpoint on New Year's Eve while riding his dirt bike on the Rails to Trails path, authorities said.  Giovanni DeJesus, 19, of Bridgeport, was arrested shortly after the incident, recovering the stolen bike and an illegal firearm, Bridgeport police said.  The robbery occurred around 5 p.m. near the pump station between White Plains Road and Quarry Road. Bridgeport Teen On Life Support Following Shooting A 19-year-old man shot in the head has been put on life support, according to the Bridgeport Police. The shooting took place around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the area of Palisade Avenue and Birdsey Street, police said.  Responding officers found the teen on Price Street, said police spokesman Av Harris. An officer in the area at the time said he heard about eight shots. Initially, the shooting had been reported as the city's second homicide of the year.
