The collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, on I-87 in Orange County in the town of Newburgh. John had been living in Walden and was a carpenter for Local 279 in Newburgh. He loved exploring adventures and being with his son and family.  He is survived by his parents, Mark Storti, Tracy Gida and her husband James Walden; son Kane Storti and his mother Cassandra Rodriguez; brother Eli Gida; sisters Brooke Storti and Rylee Storti; aunts, uncles and cousins.
