Pride Banner 'Slashed' From Its Frame At Fairfield County Church Members of a  popular Fairfield County church found a Pride banner on its property was slashed and ripped apart. The discovery was made Sunday, Aug. 1, in Stamford when members of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation congregation gathered on the front lawn to host a "Meet Our New Minister" service. "We found our Pride banner, which has been on display at the Bedford/Forest St. corner, had been slashed from its framework," the church said on Facebook.
