Know Them? Trio Wanted For Stealing Wallet At Stamford Restaurant, Police Say
Police in Stamford are asking the public for help identifying three people who allegedly stole a woman's wallet from her purse at a local restaurant.
The incident took place in Stamford on Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Mecha Noodle Bar, at 151 Broad St., when the woman reported her wallet was stolen from her purse, said Sgt. Sean Scanlan, of the Stamford Police.
Her credit cards were used at various stores including Target in Stamford with between $750 to $1,000 charged to different cards, Scanlan said.

Fairfield County Duo Charged In Overnight Burglaries, Police Say
Two Fairfield County men were charged in connection with two overnight burglaries.
The incidents took place in Norwalk on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the area of Kermit Street and Rome Street.
According to Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police, the department received a call around 7:15 a.m., Thursday, of a residential burglary on Kermit Street that took place in the overnight hours.
While police were on the scene, they received another complaint from a neighboring address that had its vehicle entered and items stolen, Dinho said.

Police are searching for a group of suspects who allegedly broke into unlocked homes in multiple towns in Connecticut and stole keys and credit cards.
The incidents took place early in the morning on Thursday, Sept. 9, in New Haven County and included the towns of Guilford, Madison, and Branford.
According to the Guilford Police, items stolen during the break-ins included credit cards, small electronics, wallets, purses, and checkbooks, were stolen from the homes.

A Fairfield County man has admitted to his role in a car theft ring in Connecticut and neighboring states.
Christopher Mulkern, also known as “Chucky,” age 21, of Stratford, pleaded guilty Friday, April 30 before US District Court in Bridgeport to a federal car theft offense.

Three people were nabbed for allegedly stealing mail from Greenwich mailboxes after police received a call reporting the crime.
The three arrested, Kelvin Cacho, 26; Shawnique McCalla, 22, and Anthony Dixon, 27, all of the Bronx, were arrested around 2 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 26, after witnesses, provided Greenwich Police a description of the vehicle being used.
After locating the vehicle, a 2004 Acura, officers made a traffic stop and found McCalla driving with Cacho in the passenger seat. Dixon was located a short distance away.

A 25-year-old woman turned herself into New Canaan police on a warrant for failure to appear after allegedly committing credit card fraud while working as a caregiver in 2014.
Tyetianna Owens-Coles, of Jonesboro, Georgia, was arrested Wednesday for credit card theft, larceny, forgery, and illegal use of a credit card, that took place while she was working in New Canaan, police said.
She is being held on $10,000 bond.
