Chef Chris Scott's Birdman Juke Joint Opening In Bridgeport Former Bravo’s Top Chef competitor Chris Scott is making his culinary mark in Bridgeport with the opening of Birdman Juke Joint in the near future. As Scott explained in a recent interview with Food and Wine, Birdman is named after the term for the individual on a plantation who tended to birds during the antebellum slavery era.
