Motorist Flees Scene After Crashing Into Rock Wall In Milford, Police Say A 22-year-old attempted to avoid being taken into police custody after crashing, striking a rock wall in Milford, investigators said. Officers from the Milford Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on Merwin Avenue near the Abigail Street intersection at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20. Police said that the investigation determined that a vehicle had struck a rock wall in the area and then fled the scene.
