Swim Teams Flock To Playland For Westchester County Championships WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Fifty swim teams from all over the region made a splash at Rye Playland this week, as the polar amusement park pool hosted the 91st annual Westchester County Swim Championships. The four-day competition began on Monday and was set to continue through Thursday -- with team and relay competition for boys and girls ages 6U to 18U. Diving championships were held last week.

Crashes On I-684, I-84 Cause Evening Delays This story has been updated.A pair of crashes on I-684 and I-84 are caused delays early Wednesday evening. The I-684 northbound crash, reported around 7:30 p.m., occurred at the I-84 interchange with traffic backed up to Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8). Farther west, a separate crash was reported on I-84 at around the same time as the I-684 incident. This one occurred west of Exit 13 (Route 9) on the wesbound side. Traffic was backed up to Route 52.

Northern Westchester Swim Conference Crowns 2016 Champions WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Swimmers from all over Northern Westchester convened at five sites Saturday morning to compete in five divisions at the Northern Westchester Swim Conference Swimming Championships.
