Morning Car Rollover Causes Closure On Route 8 In Shelton

SHELTON, Conn. -- A vehicle rollover left the driver trapped on Route 8 between exits 12 and 13 on Tuesday morning, according to officials.

The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. Crews arrived and were able to remove the occupant, who sustained minor injuries, according to CT Post. 

The accident closed a portion of the highway for nearly an hour while crews cleaned up, CT Post said.
