New Marriage Rules After Rise In Those Tying Knot At Bridgeport City Hall
With a large increase in the number of people looking to get married at a Fairfield County city hall, city officials have changed the rules. Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim announced on Monday, April 1 a new set of rules for weddings, and those obtaining marriage licenses beginning Monday, April 15. Production has been halted at the largest producer of fresh eggs in the United States after bird flu was discovered in chickens. An ongoing bridge replacement project is set to cause several lane shifts and reductions on Interstate 95 and 287 in Westchester for more than five months, officials announced.
