Fairfield’s Mac Forehand Wins Historic Olympic Silver In Big Air Showstopper Mac Forehand just made Winter Olympics history for Connecticut. The 24-year-old Norwalk native became the first Connecticut-born athlete to win a medal at the Winter Games. Forehand earned silver in men’s freestyle skiing Big Air on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.  He scored 95.00 on his first run in the final on Tuesday.
