FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – The weather this week is likely to be up and down for Fairfield County with a combination of warm and cool temperatures and occasional rain.
“Over all the pattern that we’re getting into, and will probably be in for the next two or three weeks, will give us some stormy weather or precipitation every three or four days,” said Accuweather Meteorologist Tom Kines.
This week is expected to start off chilly with temperatures in the mid-30s on Monday and go back up into the 40s by Tuesday.
On Tuesday there will likely be some precipitation, mostly rain but there might be some snow or sleet. The rest of this week is forecasted to be dry with temperatures ranging between the mid-30s to mid-40s.
Another storm, either rain or snow, is likely for this weekend.
“We’re getting into that time of year when milder weather tries to make a return, but it doesn’t always win out,” Kines said. “Next week, we’re in for the same thing, after this system over the weekend some colder weather will come back in.”
