The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies on Thursday, May 11, but smoke from Canadian wildfires over Ontario has spread across much of the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, resulting in hazy conditions. A second, stronger storm system of the weekend will bring scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds to the region.
