Armed Man Strangles, Threatens Woman In Front Of Children, Shelton Police Say A Bridgeport man is facing multiple charges after strangling and making threats to a woman in front of her children, Shelton Police say. A female victim called Shelton Police on Wednesday, Nov. 14 alleging that Owen Mason, 31, had strangled her during an argument. By the time police had arrived on scene, Mason had fled. Mason allegedly returned several hours later, breaking into the victim’s apartment and yielding a hand gun. He then threatened to kill the victim. The victim’s 4-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son were home at the time of the incident. Mason once again fled the scene, and…
