State Police Issue Memorial Day Weekend Advisory To Motorists With one of the busiest driving weekends of the year here, Connecticut State Police will ramp up enforcement details statewide during the celebrations. Connecticut State Police troopers will be out in force during Memorial Day Weekend, targeting everything from motorists traveling too fast or while impaired, to those not wearing seatbelts or violating vehicle and traffic laws. Police said that they will use laser units for speed enforcement in both marked and unmarked cars during the holiday.
