'School-Aged' Person Who Wasn't Student Makes Way Into Wilton High School, Police Say
Police in Fairfield County are investigating after a school-aged person who was not a student made their way inside a school. The incident occurred in Wilton on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Wilton High School. According to Lt. Anna Tornello of the Wilton Police, entry was not made through an unlocked door. As soon as the school administration was made aware that the teen was in the building, they enacted their security protocols. A Fairfield County Board of Education "unarmed" security guard was charged with allegedly having a firearm in his vehicle. A Norwalk High School employee who had a 22-caliber rifle in the trunk of his car was charged with making threatening comments, according to Norwalk Police.
