After a string of at least 25 vehicle break-ins over the past several days, police in Connecticut arrested a man with burglary tools after he led officers on a foot chase, authorities said.
Jostyne Morales-Ortiz, 27, of Bridgeport, was arrested Sunday night, March 3, in Shelton and faces multiple charges, police said.

String Of Home Burglaries Under Investigation In Fairfield County
Police in a Fairfield County town have stepped up patrols after three homes were burglarized in the last 10 days.
The first burglary took place on Butler Lane in New Canaan on Friday, Oct. 1, where a rear glass door was broken to enter the home. An initial report is that jewelry was stolen, said Chief Leon Krolikowski.
The home, he added, did not have an alarm system.
