CT Man, 34, Killed In Rollover Crash A Connecticut man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 91. The incident took place in New Haven County around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3 in Meriden. According to Connecticut State Police, the man, identified as Charles Davenport, age 31, of New Haven, was driving a 2023 Kia Niro southbound when he veered onto the left shoulder, plowed into the grassy median, and rolled over before hitting a tree stump. During a routine traffic stop on Interstate 91 in Meriden, police had Yodel, a narcotics detective dog, walk around the vehicle. The dog indicated the presence of narcotics, police said. Officers allegedly discovered a suitcase with more than 2 kilograms of cocaine inside. The Texas driver was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell and is being held on a $250,00 bond.
