Osborne notified the Darien Police Commission and First Selectman Jayme Stevenson earlier this week that he will be retiring on September 1. Osborne’s career began in 1983 after working with the Easton Police Department in 1981. In December of 1996, he was appointed to the Detective Division. Man Wanted For Car Burglaries Arrested On Warrant A 20-year-old Stamford man was nabbed for failure to appear after surrendering himself to Greenwich Police. Camaron Covert was arrested on Friday, Jan. 11, for charges dating back to June 2017 for allegedly breaking into cars, said the Greenwich Police. He subsequently failed to appear for one or more scheduled court appearances and a warrant was issued for his re-arrest. Covert is being held on $50,000 bond.
