Born March 1, 1943, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of James and Zelma (Haight) Myers. After 25 years of service, he retired from DeLaval in Poughkeepsie, and later went on to work at the Town of Poughkeepsie's wastewater department, where he retired with loving support after 24.5 years.
