Born May 6, 1924, in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Evangelia Katsaros Parapoulos. Together with her husband and children, she owned and operated Dutchess Manor. She was a member of the Dutchess Junction Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for more than 40 years, a member of St. Nicholas Philiptchos and a member of Eastern Star for 67 years.
